Rules.

This is the first journal entry I ever made and it was in January of 1991. It was written during a time when I was hanging out with a bunch of rough and tumble high schoolers. I was a Sophmore... just a few months before my 16th birthday. I can remember that I wanted to be tougher than I was. I wanted to be someone of action and not of confusion and fear... Here is that first journal entry:
Rules

  1. Always be very aware of your immediate surroundings. You never know when you may need something.

  2. Be always loyal to your closest friends. You never know when you are going to need them to help you out of a jam.

  3. As you learn, and as much as you wil ever know, always keep something about yourself (preferably your talents) unknown to common people.

  4. Use what you have. Always avoid buying something you can A) do without or B) make yourself.

  5. Always watch your back. No matter how safe you may think you are, always be altert to what is going on.

  6. Always learn the weaknesses of anyone who could readily attack.

  7. If there are things you can not easily remember, write it down. It may be extremely important!
