The country music awards this year came out with a new logo and all I could think is that they must be doing it in space. The logo itself screamed "scifi" to me and it took me a few seconds to realized that it wasn't the lettering or the color that made me lean that way... it was that they were using the Star Trek symbol as their logo. Now I know it isn't exactly the same shape and size and they are certainly not breaking any laws here by using a similar icon, but for me it was a reaction that I could not ignore.Also, I'm not a star trek geek... I watched TNG when it was on years ago and liked it a lot but the reaction I had was not from spending every waking hour staring at the logo.
I wonder if anyone else had a similar reaction or can even see what I'm talking about here!
